We are going to address pre med students who have got above 900 or 950 marks in pre med yet not able to get admissions in medical colleges, yes you deserve to be a doctor nothing else! We recommend everyone who have passion for MBBS to give one more try, Its worthy really , MBBS is most respectable field in the world and according to WHO there is massive shortage of doctors in Pakistan, you should not let this go so easily, if you have always dreamt of becoming doctor then sit back in quiet room and rethink, ponder on your mistakes u made last time, gather your thoughts and ask yourself a question... Can you do it better next time? If your heart says yes then just go for it. Wish u good luck for next time. & Those who think they cant repeat very well and those who have already repeated this time , they deserve to change their fields if they can compromise on mbbs, yes DPT and other Allied sciences are good fields too. But there are some disadvantages as well, you are not at all considered as a doctor anywhere in Pakistan. I dont want to discriminate anyone but DPT guys are treated as maalshi (massager) in hospitals, MBBS doctors dont have much respect for allied sciences students in hospitals , I recommend u to visit mayo hospital and just look at the students of allied sciences, and keep in mind one more thing, will you be offered jobs after your graduation ? Do we have that many seats in govt sector for you people? Dpt and other allied sciences do have good scope abroad but sadly in Pakistan its not as good as you are told by colleges. & Choosing foreign medical colleges (China, Russia) isnt a bad option for MBBS, yes it is depicted as worst step but believe us its not as bad as you have perceived. This option is quite good for students who cant compromise on mbbs as they have always dreamt of becoming doctor. and they have guts to do that, who have always been brilliant students in matric & pre medical but they are just not able to become doctor as there are very low number of MBBS seats in Pak. There are few tricky things about foreign medical colleges, without any doubt most economical and rationale choice is CHINA & RUSSIA, there are many good medical colleges in China alone, which even comes in the list of top 200 medical colleges of the world when no medical college of pak is in first 1000 even. But why still chinas image is bad ? Its just because of consultants , because they just tell u about cheapest private and low standard colleges of china because they can earn more commission they dont care about your career. Second bad thing about MBBS in China is PMDC, many students are afraid of pmdc so they cancel the option of China just because passing ratio of pmdc is very low. Listen guys yes PMDC exam is hard but not something impossible, if you choose good university and study hard in college you can easily pass pmdc. There are so many foreign medical graduates from China and Russia working in govt hospitals of Pakistan after passing pmdc. There are many Chinese students who are even doing specialization in Pakistan & all over the world. Many of them have faced situations like u r facing now. Many of them had very good marks that time but failed to get admission in govt med colleges. They didnt stop chasing their dream that easily. Doing MBBS from China is like taking a different and complicated route but main target of every doctor is doing practising in Pakistan ....which Chinese graduates can achieve after passing pmdc and facing other problems. Which they deserve as they got admissions in chinese universities without entry test but they have compensated it very well by passing pmdc exam. Then you have joined the race ..now you are equal to all other doctors .now its up to you how far u want to go ..do specialization or whatever or wherever ...all doors are open to you now. ....
