We are going to end the week on a very happy note. As weve recently shared, weve had quite the season of adoption success. And have another exciting bit of news to share. Many of you have followed Rockys story. This boy came in to us in very rough shape, so much so that there were concerns he wouldnt make it. Yet Carole and co. worked their usual magic and well, youve seen the photos and videos. Along the way Rocky made a friend, the lovely Miss Trixie. These two would regularly romp and play together, and became quite close. We werent sure what wed do when the time came that someone wanted to adopt one or the other as we were reluctant to break them up. Yet the reality of rescue is that it is hard to find homes for two big fluffy dogs. Well, as luck would have it, when a family came to meet the one, they also bonded with the other. And made the amazing decision to adopt the pair. To say that much happy dancing was done on this news would be an understatement. We are so happy to share that Rocky and Trixie are settling into their new digs. And, we are immensely grateful that another family opened their hearts and their homes to this pair. Looking forward to more pictures of these two as they continue to adjust to being part of a family. In the meantime hope youll join us as we celebrate their new home.
