We are grateful for this beautiful day today, and for making it through yesterday. Ive been listening to the Grateful Dead from 1979 this morning. It has soothed my nerves and made me dance and stretch. I hope that each of you can find comfort in something. 9/11 is a day that each of us remember and internalize individually. Lets all take some time to share how we feel with those we come in contact with through out today, and then work to continue to do this each and every day. We need to check in with ourselves and each other regularly. Dan, Annas dad, is very tired today. Yet he continues to move on. He reaches one milestone, evaluates what is discovered. Sees that it is not Anna, not yet. He cries. And then he gets back up and reaches higher. Today, we request national news coverage to assist us in the search to Find Anna Marie Smith. Somebody, somewhere knows something. And we know nothing, until we know something. Yesterday was a difficult day. It seemed at every turn there were people discussing the pain they deal with. But the discussion itself brings hope. Hope that today is going to be a great day. Recently Anna started her day with Wake and Cake, yet another way she keeps us entertained online. The troops are mobilizing from High Point Regional Health System and coming up here today. I have faith that someone will come forward with the ability to put all the nearby trails online, so that as people head out to search for her we can see at a glance where we are going, where we are now, and where we have been. Organization, clarity, and swiftness are on the forefront of all of our minds. We need to Find Anna Marie Smith and bring her home now. Thanks for your time and effort. Laurie
