We are happy to introduce @Himalaya Project, a non-profit dedicated to the preservation of Tibetan Medicine in the Himalayas and to providing public healthcare in the remote region of Dolpo, Nepal. Their project is the Dolpo School of Tibetan Buddhist Medicine which will train students not only in Tibetan Buddhist Medicine but in emergency care and wilderness first aid. Many lives will be saved from ailments like minor infections that are very treatable with the proper training. Infant / mother mortality rate is high and life expectancy in Dolpo has dropped well below 60 due to this lack of healthcare. See more about this highly beneficial project here: himalaya-project.org
