We are home!! The body wrap was removed. Everything looks great and is healing nicely. Im to keep t-shirts on Willy so the incision areas can get air to heal faster. The ride to the vets and home was smooth and went much easier than I thought. Of course I am sure other drivers were very impatient with me because I drove like a old senior citizen who was either lost or on a Sunday site seeing ride. I did not care about the horns blowing or a few other older people shaking their fist at us as they passed. LOL My only concern was my fragile and precious cargo. We dont have to go back until the 30th when the stitches are to be removed. If anything looks odd, of course we will have to return but the vet thought he looked great. What a relief to hear that and also to be back home with Willy Flynn! I must admit, I completely forgot to ask my questions because I was a nervous wreck. The vet took Willy into the back to remove his body wrap and I heard crying and thought it was Willy. I was about to either turn my stomach or pass out with fear of what they might be doing to him. As it turned out, it was not Willy. The vet brought him back into the room yet that crying continued. Thank you dear Lord for watching over my little boy and for showing me he was fine and was not having yet more unbearable pain! Reality set in that I am not as good a mommy as I should be when it comes to handling any type of procedure that might cause discomfort, pain or something not too nice to look at. I have to somehow get to the store and get soft white cotton t-shirts for Willy and then remove the wrap without passing out from what I might see. LOL We have come this far and its nearly over so I know I will have to force myself to do it. Thank you for all your positive thoughts, encouraging words and prayers. Now the waiting for the biopsy result........ Love to you all, Sally and the Wild n Wonderful Willy too!
