We are home,thanks so much Rachie for coming and taking us to the hospital. Devin has a viral infection is all they can figure since his throat culture came back fine,and his urine also came back ok. His throat is swollen and sore,he has a mild cough which didnt start till we got to the hospital. The stomach pain,headache,neck pain and blurred vision they do not know what caused all that. They did some simplt testing (like bending his legs and neck) to see if he had menegintus and he passed those,they said the only other way to tell would be to take fluid from his back like an epiduryle and we didnt want to put him threw that if not for sure needed. Dr wants me to watch his symptoms and also watch for his stomach pain because were his pain is can sometimes be appendicitus (sp?),so he said watch to see if he gets tender on the right side. So no meds other then tylenol and mortin,G2 gatorade and lots of rest for monkey. I hope he feels better soon,I hate seeing him not feel well. I always know when he is really sick because not much gets this kid down so when he lays around on the cough all day then hes sick. His temp just wouldnt go down all day,it was 102.5 when we left the house and almost 104 when we got to the hospital,so they gave him tylenol and motrin at the same time,I never knew for the first dose to give them both. I just knew every 3 hrs they could be alternated,so learned something new. They said when fevers are that high giving a dose of both at same time to start usually breaks the fever,then u just keep doing on of them every 3 hrs switching between the two. Well im tired and gonna go cuddle witth my monkey and hopefully he feels better,looks like I may not be getting my car to the shop now tomorrow =/ Its always something around here I swear,cant catch a break but guess I cant complain because it could be worse,so gonna just count my blessings and call it a night.
