We are honored to announce that the Early Head Start division of the Health Federation of Philadelphia has joined the Oxford Mills community! Early Head Start has signed a long-term lease for the relocation and expansion of their Philadelphia headquarters and we welcome this exceptional organization to Oxford Mills. They join a growing list of educational-related nonprofit tenants, including Teach for America, Artwell and the Interfaith Center of Greater Philadelphia. We are currently finalizing the design of their new headquarters and expect them to open their doors at Oxford Mills in early Summer of 2014. Early Head Start is a child development and family support program with a mission to: assist women and families with their children’s growth and development during the early years of life, promote school readiness, connect families with community resources that can assist them in becoming self-sufficient, meet the special needs of children with disabilities, and to provide information to their clients and the community on health and nutrition.
