We are in Kingsman, AZ for the night. It was a long day, we didnt get in until around 6:30PM. We spent most of the day walking around Wupatki National Monument and Sunset Crater Volcano Natl. Park. Wupatki is an ancient pueblo indian site. It dates from 1100 and abandoned around 1200. Some of the sites have just been stabilized and some are being reconstructed. The volcano erupted around 900 years ago and scientist believe the ash from that eruption made the soil fertile enough for areas to be farmed.
