We are in a huge problem. This country has reached to a level where politicians can openly incite people and nothing can be done to them. The news you are reading, listening and watching is edited. The real raw bile is never captured on Television, Radio and Newspapers. If arrested, politicians poke the police, our judiciary and even utter more bile. Others know they cannot be arrested. They know the police have their limits. Nobody seems ready to make political martyrs out of them. For some of us who have seen the real costs of war , we can buy peace even if the price compares to that of Gold. Political war can end that career you prize. That home you go in the evening after day’s work can be a thing of the past. It is possible for you, your angelic children, your lovely husband, your beautiful wife, your brothers and sisters, your parents and all those others you care about to live in refugees camps. Getting rations from World Food Programme is not a distant thing.We are near there more than any other time in the history of this country. Some of us have had the privilege of working in areas devastated by war. It is evil,It is sickening.It is degrading. I do not want to imagine the of the situation of Iraq today and Jonglei State-specifically Pibor County in South Sudan can be replicated here. Majority of Kenyans who are spreading hate have never heard even the sound of a gun. A tire burst is enough to send them lying on the ground. However, they are behaving as if conflict is a sport. How stupid can we get to allow men and women who gave birth in 1960s, have educated their children, married them off in Europe and other places in the world to incite us like fools. This madness has to stop. It is all nonsense and suicidal.{Son of Soils}
