We are in the process of creating the proceedings for TCC 2015. When I asked Shai (TCC steering committee chair) how long that could possibly take (as it does not seem like rocket science), he replied Never underestimate the creative ways that authors will find to make your life hard :) And he was right of course. It is fascinating how crap highly intelligent people can be at following simple instructions. Here is an example: This is from Springers instructions to authors: Please do not change the preset fonts. This is from the instructions that we put on our final version submission page: It is very important that you do not change the margins or font size of the llncs.cls class. If you do so, you will be asked to change this again on very short notice and ultimately your paper cannot be published. Yet six (6) papers manage to submit a latex file that does indeed modify the font size, all of them by using \documentclass[11pt]{llncs} instead of \documentclass{llncs}. !? There are a small number of other no-brainer rules to follow, like putting a PDF file of the paper in the submitted achieve file, which is again explained both in the Springer instructions and on the submission page. All-in-all 14 of 52 final versions (that is 25%) manages to violate one of these no-brainers. Good work guys, we appreciate the extra work! :-D #RTFM
