We are looking POLISH volunteer for already approved EVS project in Jordan. Project will start in August (volunteer should arrive till 10th of August). Voluntary service will be for 4 months. The main tasks: • To organize physical sport and outdoor activities to youth in “Gaza” refugee camp - activities will be made in The Middle East Fitness Initiative (MEFI) center mideastfit/. Volunteers will lead activities for young girls and women. One of physical activities what volunteers will lead will be self-defence classes for women. Volunteers will be trained how to teach simple exercises to the girls in camp. Volunteers will also lead physical activities to youth and kids using active and interesting games. • To organize educational activities about healthy lifestyle in Gaza camp for girls and woman; Lot of girls and women are very poorly educated about healthy lifestyle and need of physical activities. There are lot of stereotypes that sport activities will make them look masculine what is not desired and therefore they avoid sport activities; • To take active part in the summer camp for Gaza refugee camp kids. Each summer there is camp for kids in refugee camp. The summer camp is three weeks long and involves 100 kids in age from 6 to 12 years old (50 girls and 50 boys). Volunteers will lead activities for kids (drawing, playing games about environment and educational activities). Volunteers will also help with preparation work for the summer camp. • To promote EVS and Youth In Action program to youth in Jordan and establish new cooperation with other organization from Europe and Arab countries; • To write blog articles about her experience in Jordan (in English) - at least one article per week.
