We are looking for a PARK SUPERVISOR to join our current team of management. This is a temporary position, to cover maternity leave, with strong potential of a permanent contract to follow. Animal Farm Adventure Park is growing at a rapid pace, and is now one of the top attractions in the South West, we are looking to expand our management team, and to continue to grow, and improve. We require a lively, friendly, enthusiastic person, with a positive, can-do attitude, with previous experience managing a team of staff. Ideal experience would be holiday park supervision, or restaurant supervision. The job role is to supervise and set tasks for staff on a daily basis, to follow up on these tasks and ensure they are completed to the highest standard. To check the park, shop, play area and cafe regularly, to ensure the highest cleanliness standards are met. All areas are fully stocked, and merchandise is positioned to maximise sales. Ensure safety standards are met in animal, play and eating areas. Train staff and ensure staff paperwork is kept up to date. Some other paperwork to be completed as part of daily routine. Deal with customers enquiries, complaints, and ensure customer satisfaction. Report to other supervisors and managers. Direct contact with animals is not required, but knowledge of the animals we have will need to be learnt, and customer queries answered in a professional and knowledgeable way. A driving licence and own transport is essential to ensure reliability. Experience in team leadership, customer facing roles advantageous. Food hygiene, first aid, health & safety training also a bonus. But training can be provided. Immediate start available. 5/6 days per week, opening hours 9am-6.30pm, must be prepared to work weekends, bank holidays, and school holidays.
