We are looking for a Shop Assistant/Animal Carer, who is interested in learning the pet industry. This is a position is permanent and would require you to work on a rota system, mornings one week and afternoons the next. You should be between 17 & 20 years of age although older applicants with animal experience would be considered. Pride and passion in what you do is essential.. Attention to detail is most important. and not afraid of hard work. As well as general shop duties you would be expected to clean out and feed animals Animal care is priority and the applicant must have the right attitude, a good timekeeper, honest, pleasant and have an interest in the job. We would offer an apprenticeship in animal care to the right person. You also must be able to work with a small team as well as work on your own and be able to adapt to situations quickly.
