The location of this restaurant creates fast paced, high volume peaks driven from the tourist nature of the area and as the Steveston community expands so does our local loyal customer base. Our growing business is now looking for a full time experienced and positive Floor Manager to add to our professional and energetic team. Our seafood driven menu caters to the ‘experienced foodie’ looking for lobster and champagne, as well as, to the local family out for a fish’n’chip afternoon. This newly appointed position encompasses two opportunities: Floor Manager and Server. The dual nature of this position lends itself to an over-achieving individual with excellent organizational skills, ability to multi-task and strong leadership and customer service skills. JOB DESCRIPTION *Management of front of house operations *Serving of daily selected section *Staff management and section assignment *Participation in recruitment and hiring process *Involved in training of staff *Create a high energy, positive atmosphere for staff to work IDEAL CANDIDATE *Seasoned expert in the Restaurant Industry *5 years experience in Restaurant Management *Knowledgeable in all areas of the restaurant *Experienced in all front of house positions *Has the ability to ‘Up-sell’ *Enthusiastic, charismatic and self-driven *Has a sense of urgency and promptness in their customer service. *Ability to connect with locals from the Richmond area to create long and lasting loyal customers. *Can see the ‘Whole’ picture, we are looking for an individual that cannot only run a profitable section, but who can also see what is going on at all times within the restaurant, from customer service to cleanliness. REMUNERATION A generous remuneration package will be offered to the ideal candidate.
