We are looking for a new designer to strengthen our team! DESIGNER As a Designer youll be involved in all stages of product design from concept to production. You will be focused on producing high quality, reliable and competitive products by using the most cost conscious design practices. Duties will include: - Design, modification and development of products - Creating and maintaining supporting drawings and data according to ISO QMS requirements - Providing assistance to internal departments on technical/engineering - Providing technical support to customers on all products - Prototyping and product testing Qualifications/Requirements: - Minimum of a HND in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience - At least 2 years product design experience preferred - A proficient user of ProE Wildfire and preferably conversant with Catia 5 R19 - Knowledge of basic automotive electrical systems - A practical hands on approach to engineering development - Excellent analytical and problem solving skills - The ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and determine priorities - Capable of working under pressure and meeting deadlines - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Knowledge of APQP, PPAP and FMEA will be considered an asset - The candidate must be willing to travel overseas when required Interested candidates are requested to submit their applications consisting of a covering letter together with a detailed CV to: Human Resources Merit Malta Ltd.
