Please review job description given below: Position: Electrical Engineer (Switch gear & Battery ,UPS Maintenance) Position Summary: Able to do the maintenance of Switch gear electrical systems in coordination with the power plant personals. Education Requirements/Qualifications: B.E or B. Tech in the field of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Work Experience Requirements: At least 3 years direct experience on maintenance and testing/commissioning of major electrical equipments of power plants & substation Major Responsibilities & Accountability: · Should be able to do the maintenance of Switch gear / MCC panels in electrical systems in coordination with the power plant personals. · Should be able to handle and supervise a team of technicians to execute the preventive and corrective maintenance of the Switch gear (including GIS type) and associated equipments. · Should have a hands on experience in the complete testing of the switch gear such as Hipot ,IR,CT .PT test & other switch gear components · Should have the good knowledge for the maintenance of the ISO phase Bus, unit compartment, PT and SA cubicle, neutral grounding cubicle. · Shall be responsible to do all maintenance related to Switch gear & its controls. · Should have hands on experience in the preventive maintenance of all types and makes of battery chargers and UPS. · Should be proficient in the corrective maintenance of battery chargers and UPS which includes locating and identifying the faults and make necessary repair to trouble shoot the fault. Should be able to identify the faults in the electronics cards, make repair by replacement of faulty components of the cards. · Should have the knowledge of testing of the battery charger and the UPS. · Shall be responsible for other panels which have electronic cards.
