We are near to the time to fly back to UK. After a year of musafir, nomad and hoping here and there, in many way we feel relief especially kids, knowing that we will be heading back to the house to settle with daily normal routine. Although we are in the environment where we have families, relatives, easy halal food every where, easy praying room, surau and masjid, dont need to hrab coat, glove and boots to head out the house, still its never be the same as you live where you have your belonging, your own space, your own room and dont have to think about next hop in and out with bag, dirty laundry etc. Although that is the feeling for us, on one side, me feel a bit scared to go back to own daily routine. Set up daily task for kids, thinking we got no vehicle for the time being to go out. Imagine of being stuck in the house day by day although at some point we have enough of travelling. Amazingly, kids talking about wanted to go back packing in Kyrgyzstan, Laos, Bosnia, Germany etc like travelling is what they want to do although at the same time they talk about how they had enough with travelling. Than I was planning for us next summer to tour around Europe, hoping from one camp site to another, this time spending more time in each place. We talk about heading to Africa or US at some point. True, that once you start travel overland or back packing, you kind of addicted to it although one side of your brain think you had enough of nomad life. I am looking forward to see how long we can stay back on our routine without venture out. I am already have in my mind of first camping trip in August!
