We are not criminals - Jose Antonio Vargas. You can not dismantle the oppressive narratives created by the establishment by using language that oppresses other communities of color. JAV continues pushing a narrative based on merit that throws other struggling communities under the bus. You can not erase the illegal label and at the same time promote the criminal label. Do us a favor and take a trip to Ferguson instead of another border city; learn about the struggle of others.
