We are off to VANUATU. Tonight at 1 am (!) 58 OFCFNC people head off to the airport for two weeks of volunteering running football and netball clinics in schools as well as sharing our skills in the hospital, trade schools etc. Mixed in is a good deal of fun, visiting 4 islands, cultural activities, snorkelling, fishing, waterfalls, fire shows & much more. and .. we are playing games against the Vanuatu netball Commonwealth Games team, the Vanuatu All Stars football team and some friendly mixed footy/netty games. The 40 ft container full of donated goods, medical, educational, trade & sporting supplies has arrived in Port Vila and is at the shipping wharf awaiting our arrival. Fantastic effort by everyone to collect this and much appreciation to the many businesses and organisations that donated goods and funds to help cover shipping costs.
