We are only 5 days in to 2015 and already our members are getting themselves front and centre..... Kurt Fearnley and the Australian Steelers (Ryley Batt, Curtis Palmer) have been nominated for the the Australian Institute of Sports Sports Personality of the Year and Sports Performance of the Year respectively. As part of the AISs Sports Performance Awards, these two categories are both voted for by YOU the public, so get voting!!! Both face stiff competition with Kurt going up against Soceroo Tim Cahill, Australian paceman Mitchell Johnson and Surfer Sally Fitzgibbons amongst others. The task doesnt get any easier for the Steelers in the Sports Performance category facing off against the likes of the NRL Champions South Sydney Rabbitohs and sprinting superstar Sally Pearson.
