We are pleased to announce that registration for the March 21, 2015 Badwater Cape Fear is now open. As in 2014, 50km and 51mi races are offered in this one-of-a-kind setting and BADWATERs only east coast race. Please review the website for the events, not just the RunReg registration page, to learn all the details of the event. Pay particular attention to the information regarding housing and transportation as the race is held on an island. Also, we really hope you will be able to join us not just for the race, but also for the really fun pre- and post-race social activities. We are looking to add more activities in the days leading up to the race also. Bald Head Island and nearby Southport, NC are ideal vacation get-away spots for the entire family, located less than one hour from Wilmington, NC and its major airport with Delta and US Airways service. Once the remarkable beauty and quaint southern charm of this area are experienced once, we anticipate that most BADWATER® CAPE FEAR participants will make this race an annual pilgrimage and that most will incorporate a week-long family vacation as well.
