We are pleased to announce that the position of School Administrator and Development Assistant has been filled, and we couldnt been happier. Company Dancer Stephanie Pitts has has been interning with us in the office while on summer hiatus this year, and has also been continuing her higher education at the University of Central Oklahoma. She was planning on the 2014-15 season being her last as a dancer, but when this position came available, she began to weigh her options. She approached our Executive Director Shane Jewell and expressed her interest in the position and her decision to retire from the stage. So you might have deducted by now that Mrs. Stephanie Pitts is now our new School Administrator and Development Assistant. Stephanie has devoted 8 years of her life to Oklahoma City Ballet as a professional dancer in the company and although we are confident she will do an amazing job in her new role, it will be bittersweet to no longer see this beautiful artist on the stage. I want to personally thank Stephanie on her time in the company and I look forward to working with her in a different capacity.
