From massive hurricanes and destructive ice storms to powerful Nor’easters and deadly flooding, our mission at the Department of Public Safety is to help keep you safe by keeping you ahead of the storm. WRN Ambassadors are charged with helping to build stronger, more-resilient communities by sharing essential information before, during and after disasters and by promoting ideas and concepts that minimize impacts of future disasters. As part of our collaboration with NOAA and the local experts at US National Weather Service Philadelphia/Mount Holly, we will be sharing their safety information – as well as looking to you for any innovative ways that can contribute to everyone living in a Weather-Ready Nation.
