We are proud to announce that our new Ambulance 3561 was placed into service this past Saturday and we wanted to share with you some info about it! Ambulance 3561 is a 2014 Ford F-450 / Wheeled Coach unit purchased from Fire Service Incorporated from St. John, IN. Ambulance 3561 will be replacing Ambulance 3562 a 1998 Super Duty which has been in service since the early days of our ALS ambulance service. The new Ambulance 3561 will be certified advanced life support and will respond from our station located at 10645 Randolph Street supplementing our current medic unit fleet and will rotate with our previously purchased Ambulance 3563 a 2010 Ford E450 / Horton. New Ambulance 3561 was purchased in a joint effort with Winfield Township Trustee Roland Brauer and his advisory board which have been very supportive of our department over the years. Our current Ambulance 3562 will stay in service and be certified Basic Life Support and will find its new home at our station located on County Road 275 South behind LOFS.
