We are proud to be part of this wonderful project, Edupeg. The garden is coming along very well! Well done Urban Harvest Edible Gardens on the good work. We love the recycling of old roof tiles for the garden beds. EduPeg is a non-profit organisation who supports and mentors teachers to improve their teaching skills and techniques, which in turn, improves the quality of education to our primary schools and focuses on making learning fun! In conjunction with Urban Harvest we are going to build a 400m² garden at Litha Primary School in Gugulethu, where the ravages of poverty remain evident. This will enable food security, parental participation in sustainable food programmes, income generation, beautification, recycling and litter reduction.
