We are reaching out to you today on a more serious note. As of today it has been twelve days since the Berlin based author and playwright Jörg Albrecht was arrested on the street in Abu Dhabi. Although he has since been released from prison without explanation, he is still not allowed to leave the country. Jörg was an official guest of the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair which makes the behavior of the authorities even more irritating. Jörg is a good friend of ours and we are great admirers of his work. Please take two seconds out of your day to sign this petition.
