Avail. {UCPL}-FB Our Client Company is an innovative medical device company with a patent-protected portfolio of products that represent game-changing technology within the market for advanced drug delivery devices, including prefilled syringes. They are currently seeking a Project Leader in York, PA. Relocation assistance is available. The successful candidate will have the experience necessary to perform the following functions, among others: • Identify new ideas and concepts for products, as well as target customers and customer drug products. • Analyze customer needs and convert into new product ideas or customization of existing products. • Develop plans for device design and development to meet customer needs. • Direct the activities of assigned project team members to ensure that the deliverables defined for each member are met within the parameters, schedules and outcomes set by customers. • Provide leadership and coaching to project team members and recruit and select top candidates. • Design and develop new products or enhancements to existing products to meet customer needs. • Ensure that all applicable legal, regulatory and ISO standards are met throughout project implementation. • Develop and oversee systems to create accurate records of the project management activities and deliverables in compliance with customer requirements, applicable regulations and ISO standards. Education/Experience • A bachelor’s degree in engineering is required; a master’s degree in engineering is preferred. • A minimum of 5 years of experience managing new product development projects for medical device companies is required; experience with a drug delivery device company is preferred. • Strong engineering fundamentals and a hands-on management style is required.
