We are seeking the expertise of a Sales Representative in the Vaal Triangle and surrounding areas to assist with growing our business. We offer a basic salary of R14 000 – R18 000 with a negotiable commission structure. The successful candidate needs to be pro-active, results driven, assertive and commercially astute and will form part of a dynamic team reporting directly to the Managing Director. Qualifications • A relevant Degree / Diploma • A high level of computer literacy / efficiency is required – Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Years’ Experience • Minimum 3 years sales experience in the Courier / Transport / Logistics Industry. Type of experience • New Business Development. • Min 3 years in the service or courier industry • Proof of previous Sales success • Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills • Sound Geographical knowledge • Customer Service • Meeting Sales Goals • Closing Skills • Prospecting Skills • Self-Confidence • Product Knowledge • Client Relationships • Motivation for Sales Duties and Responsibilities • New Business Development • Cold Calling • Attend networking functions to canvass for new business • Good time management and organization skills • Perform pre-call customer research and sales strategy development • Resolve customer issues and manage accounts • Address customer needs during sales calls • Establish relationships with potential clients and maintain relationships with current clients in order to garner success for the company. • Prepare presentations for products and services and write up sales contracts for when a sale is made. • Prepare schedules and action plans to help identify targets and project the amount of contacts to be made to sell services. • Responsible for retaining and growing the business • After making a successful sale, make follow-up visits to the clients to be sure that the customer receives service the way it is supposed to be and make sure the clients are still satisfied.
