We are setting up a rural store called Bos Rural Supplies at Kandanga and have had a lot of concreting to do - however I think weve found have found a cheaper (and much more convenient way). DIAMONDGRID is an Australian made plastic matting product we now sell that can be laid quickly (this little 30m2 car park took 40 minutes) with mats clicking together then being filled with gravel or dirt. Not much ground prep needed, doesnt have to be level, no boarding up, laying plastic and reo mesh or working out cement truck logistics- and seems to hold point loads of up to 15t. Now for some water trough pads, cattle yard floor, a driveway for trucks and shed floor. Unlike concrete, some water absorbs too which is better ecologically. Id guess its not that difficult to remove and reuse either. Give us a call re specs, pricing and pallet quantities. In this case it was well under half the cost of us using concrete (closer to 1/3).
