We are so excited to introduce you to Amita Stark, our singer and musician for The Gorgeous Retreat on July 19th. Amita is a student of master yogi Sri Baba Hari Dass and a trained art historian and former art museum curator. She discovered her voice chanting as a Vedic priestess at the Sankat Mochan Hanuman Temple at Mount Madonna Center in the Santa Cruz Mountains, where she lived for 4 1/2 years. Known for creating deep safe space for practitioners, she has led Kirtan at Exhale Center for Sacred Movement in Venice, the Pacific Cultural Center in Santa Cruz, and regularly at Yoga Tree in Berkeley. Amita released her first CD, Ancient Healing Mantras for Peace in 2013. Welcome Amita to The Gorgeous Project family, we are so incredibly excited to have you join us at the retreat.
