We are so fortunate that Ian is going to this great school - wonderful achievement and Casper College has the unique distinction of being the only two-year institution to hold accreditation with all four arts accrediting agencies: art, dance, music, and theatre. See this announcement - woot woot! We have good reason to be proud of our Fine Arts Department! A message from Dean Unruh: I am delighted to report that the Commission on Accreditation for the National Association of Schools of Dance (NASD) has granted Associate Membership to Casper College. Please join me in congratulating Dance Coordinator Jodi Jones for her supreme efforts in achieving this goal. It is noted that Casper College is the first community college in the nation to be granted membership with NASD. Furthermore, Casper College has the unique distinction of being the only two-year institution to hold accreditation with all four arts accrediting agencies: art, dance, music, and theatre. Our dance accreditation process began two years ago and included a Self-Study, a site visit with NASD evaluators, and a response to the Commission. I appreciate the dedication, drive, and commitment to redevelop the dance program according to national standards.
