We are so proud to announce that the Town of Woodstock has been awarded the prestigious Government Finance Officers Association Distinguished Budget Presentation Award for the present fiscal year. Less than 1,500 of the nearly 80,000 units of local government in the United States of America receive this distinction each year. Further, localities that receive this award tend to be much larger and have a far more robust staff the Woodstock. The review process consists of 3 anonymous reviewers from across the country reviewing our budget and adjudicating it for adherence to the 27 criteria identified by the Association and National Advisory Council on State and Local Budgeting.
