We are so thankful for our community members that keep our traditions and are honored to announce that Kalpulli Ameyaltonal Tejaztlan will be opening our day with Danza, at 5PM promptly. Kalpulli Ameyaltonal Tejaztlan is an Indigenous group that engages in preserving the ancestral ways of Anahuac by promoting healing, building community, raising families, and expressing creativity through danza, temazcalli and traditional medicines. In their own words, We are a group of families, women, men and children working together to decolonize, empower and heal our hearts, minds and souls. We support social and indigenous justice issues and strive to collaborate with organizations that work in these realms. We share our heritage with the community by way of community blessings honoring ancestral ways of song and dance. We also have ongoing projects and events that are aligned with our visions to empower ourselves as Indigenous peoples of this continent and reclaim our sacred spaces.
