We are so thankful for the many opportunities we have to share Gods Word through our partnership with Bible League Canada. Here is just one example of the fruits of our partnership, just one story of the many lives transformed by the Word of God. I came from a very devote Jehovah Witness family. I was very active with the young peoples’ group at our church, never missing any activities as it’s a requirement for us to keep our salvation as we were taught. I was so shocked when the volunteer teacher taught us from the New Testament that Jesus is not just a human being but the Son of God, the Saviour of the world. It was the total opposite of what I was taught. I wanted to argue with the volunteer teacher, but I couldn’t seem to open my mouth and get my thoughts organized. I was surprised at my reaction…it seemed that something was holding me back. The following week I was restless inside and wanted to argue again but there was no time, and before the Pastor left the class, he invited us to say a prayer, to invite Jesus into our lives. I prayed the prayer, not quite realizing what I was doing. Suddenly, I saw in my mind, a black sheet that was being lifted up off of me, and wonderful peace filled me. Hallelujah! Now I can grow in my faith because I have the Word of God! I’m so thankful for God’s Word. - Jeamson, Abra Province.
