We are starting to pick up a few lightning strikes along our eastern border with the Umpqua National Forest in much of the same area as yesterdays storm. We are also picking up a few strikes between the Glendale and Myrtle Creek areas. Reports back from the field say that the storm has precipitation with it again, but the amount varies depending on where you are. No additional fires have been reported from the new lightning, but we do have ground and aviation resources in the lightning affected areas on detection patrols.
