We are staying at the Navy Base Gateway Inns in Naples, Italy. What beautiful accommodations. We have a 1 bedroom / 1 bath suite... (Kitchen, Living Room, Deep bathtub in Bathroom, 2 walk-in closets) and a beautiful view of Mt. Vesuvius from our balcony. A flat $70/night (no tax or resort fees) gives us the safety of the Naval Base, Free Wi-Fi and local calls, options to take English speaking tours, rental cars, train station, a neighboring base with full exchange (shopping center), pool, theater, commissary (food store), late night food court, and we will not be living out of a suitcase during our stay here in Italy. I love this base! You should see the view of Mt. Vesuvius at dusk from our balcony (when we arrived last night). BEAUTIFUL! Stephanie & I couldnt be happier (Well, maybe if Sarah & Stacie were with us that is). Ill keep you all posted on our trip.
