We are staying on the top floor of this old classic European style apartment building. The lobby still has an old wooden concierge office. The best thing about the apartment is the terrace. It has mechanical awnings which shield us from the sun and we can retract them in the evening. As the sun sets the bells from all the surrounding churches start tolling. Most notable is Santa Croce which quite close by. The gleaming white marble Gothic facade reflects the setting sun.
