Name of shoot: New Classic Floridian Wedding Inspiration Description: We (Michele Butler Events) were incredibly honored when The Four Seasons Orlando At Walt Disney World® Resort invited us to create a styled shoot that would showcase their venue and wow their corporate marketing team. The newly opened resort is absolutely gorgeous and the attention to detail is unmissable. What stood out the most about the aesthetic of the hotel was how much the architecture was an homage to Florida’s Guilded Era—with it’s use of Spanish Revival architecture utilizing coquina, limestone, travertine, and Moorish inspired tiles. At the same time, there was use of modern art, mixes of metals, using organic elements—such as turtle and sea shells, branches, and antlers—and painting them into a high gloss that made it modern. The eclectic nature of the space was unexpected, yet feels completely at home in Orlando. It was easy to see how we evolved a concept of a New Classic Floridaian Wedding. We picked vendors we knew could interpret clean classic style and add that bit of unexpected—all of which delivered.
