We are super excited to be launching our new training event on January 6th from 6:30pm-8pm called TEAM NIGHT (TMNGHT)! TEAM NIGHT is a time for the creative (and non-creative) people of Willow Crystal Lake to connect with God and each other, and to train and grow in our abilities and skills. This is for those who are a part of our Worship and Tech teams, also for those who serve in our student ministries worship and tech, and for those who are creative artists in our church, and lastly if you are interested in getting involved with the creative, worship or tech arts at WCL or just want to grow in your ability this night is for you. We have Steve Carter kicking off our first TMNGHT on January 6th speaking live at WCL. Here is what you can come to expect from every TEAM NIGHT: A time of worship, a time of large group teaching, a time to hang out/eat some food and get to know each other better, and lastly breakout classes that will cover all sorts of topics like: How to play rhythm guitar, How to run lights, How to mix your Aviom like a pro, Classes on Mixing sound, Classes on stage presence and vocal workshops, also classes on How to build your guitar pedal board, Classes on songwriting, Classes on how to play effectively as a band, Classes on using Ableton/Loops, Classes on how to get the most out of the video camera during the weekend service, also classes on how to lead worship. Also, we will be offering opportunities for you to cross train into other positions. Disclaimer: Not all of these classes will be offered every time we have TMNGHT, but this is a brief selection some of what will be offered in the coming months. Also, if you have ideas for future classes to offer we would love your ideas. Also, we will be offering free Childcare for ages up to 12 years old. But you must RSVP with Marissa by Dec. 29th.
