We are taught - Truth is stranger than fiction. Therefore, one is supposed to be prepared! What surprises me and everybody is the sheer foolishness that defies every rational argument that can exist. It is pathetic when it comes from someone who appears to be smarter than the most. May good sense prevail. May each of us get the strength to accept ourselves as we are and do not live in a make-believe world. How does it matter if I come from a small background and not from an elite institution? What matters is where I stand today and what has been my contribution. It is more creditable to come from a small background to reach a level where the best of the best institutions would aspire to be. Why should I be ashamed of my humble beginning? Rather, I should be proud of it. I wish we remember what Nachiketa told himself in Kathoponishada, I am superior to many, I am inferior to few, but nowhere am I the last, I can also do something. To err is human. We all make mistakes. We do not feel proud of it and pray that we get the strength not to repeat it. I dont exactly know what would be the way forward to come out of this mistake. This is the strangest thing that I have seen so far.
