We are thankful to the Indian electorate that for the next 5 years there will be no arm twisting by regional parties in running the entire country. A regional party with 10 seats had the power to dictate national issues after exit of Narsimha Rao. Now what do we have within the Government as far as regional parties are concerned. The pre poll partners are quite manageable with local issues. Thankfully, the three ladies with 2nd, 3rd and 4th largest number of seats, one national and 2 regional have to sit in opposition without a cabinet rank leader. The two regional ones have always been known to arm twist those in power. Now the government does not have to look at the regional ladies to survive. Finally we have a party in power that will be able to run the country as a truly a national party without regional interference.
