We are tired and broke and dont want another war. We are sickened and sadden by the chemical warfare in syria but we dont want our sons lost in their civil war. Can we look away from atrocities in other lands. Are we obligated to step in. If we do what will be the consequences? This strike is no solution, however it may be a deterrent to discourage further chemical acts by ASSad and others, but it certainly wont end their war. In fact it may require even more escalated involvement on our part. And now are we the policeman of the world?. Just as the Afgan war is winding to a close neocons looking to start another war to line their military industrial pockets. Republicans are cutting medicaid, food stamps meals on wheels for senior and a host of other domestic programs, however when it comes to war, we can always find the money in the bottom of our pocket books to for that. We are trapped in a quagmire with no good options.
