We are very excited to announce that Alex Parker will be attending the Foreverland movie premiere, where she will also present a short talk on Kalydeco. Alex has been a key campaigner in lobbying the government to have Kalydeco recently listed on the PBS, she has also been instrumental in educating the broader community about Cystic Fibrosis. (see video clip from Sunrise this morning) Kalydeco is paving the way for specific gene targeted treatments, however 90% of the Cystic Fibrosis community is still waiting for their version of Kalydeco to become a reality. Cystic Fibrosis aside - We cant wait to meet Maxwell McGuire and Alex Parker at the Foreverland Movie Premiere, both amazing, inspirational and not to mention talented, creative and successful individuals in their own right.
