We are very excited to welcome Candice Foster to the Peregrine family, as head teacher of our daycare program at the Early Childhood Center! Candice (aka "Can") is a San Jose transplant residing in downtown Sacramento, and has an AS in Early Childhood Education with a minor in ethnic studies. She is passionate about children, education, community, art and music. Can worked as a student teacher intern at Roseville Community Preschool, and was a part of the California Early Childhood Education Mentor Project. Her past experience also includes working as a barista and as a community organizer. Teacher Can is surrounded with love from her beautiful and supportive family, and spends all her free time taking trips to the beach, crafting, cooking and taking bike rides with her four children and her wonderful husband Adam. She enjoys crocheting and her favorite art medium is collaging. Can loves to be involved in the community and she likes exploring her neighborhood with her family. "Art has no boundaries," she says. "It lets people express who they are and allows our brains continue to imagine and discover." Welcome, Teacher Can!
