We are very happy that AP government would like to build Capital in our villages. This is beyond our dream is coming true. The government would like to acquire 30,000 Acres to build capital this will be approximately over 121 Sq KM. This is more than Guntur city or Vijayawada city. At present all state government offices are located in around 250 acres in Hyderabad this will be around one SqKM. In Bangalore Vidanasoudha, High Court, MLA quarters, Raj Bhavan and state administrative offices are located in 1.5 Sq KM. One Sq KM = 247 Acres. In normal existing model the total capital buildings are not required more than 1.5 SqKM. Why the government would like to acquire 121 SqKM? Few Facts 1. Indian Parliament building is in 6Acres on a plot of 9.8 acres 2. The Supreme Court building was built on 17 acres added another 12 acres. 3. America White House fence encloses of 18 acres of land 4. U.S. Capitol Building covers about 4 acres, and has a ground area of approximately 16-1/2 acres. We are looking for a justification for 30,000Acres requirement for Capital? If the Government is looking for 500 to 1000 Acres we can think of security or increased parking problem. The government has 20,000 acres in around four mandals. If they take any farmer land they can provide equal or with additional 50% of the government land for farming, for capital building they can exchange the land. Happily any farmer can accept. The political people are talking in AP as communist country like China not as a democratic country. All political leaders must remember that they are elected from public. Threatening like forced acquisition is not part of democracy. Saying like they can pass new GO to acquire. The 17 villagers are not requested for separate state. KCR wanted separate state. Congress took credit of state separation supported by BJP. KCR, Congress and BJP has promised many things as of now nothing in force that includes TAX benefit for state. By considering the fact of the political policy we are not in a position to wait for 10 years to execute their promises. We sincerely request Government to come with a policy which will be accepted by every farmer happily for our new capital.
