We are very lucky to have so many supporters here, a good mix of clients and people that use other dog walkers. Those that know me and Billy know that we are obsessed with animals. We dont even go away on holiday because it means time away from the animals. I (jemma) walk dogs all day, train dog in the evening and weekends, constantly book on courses about dogs, read about dogs and never stop talking about dogs. It is because of my love for dogs that I want to give a bit of advice should you ever need to use a dog walker or you need a new one because you have moved. Always ask about transportation. What vehicle they have, how many dogs are in the vehicle at one time, are they crated or do they all pile in together. In the event of a road accident are they all secure or is there a risk that they can escape, is water available etc... I get to see both the good walkers and the bad. Last week I saw 6 dogs all piled into one car, unsecured and not seperated from each other. Huge risk of a dog fight as personal space is extremely important to dogs and there is no way of stopping 6 dogs pile out when the door has been opened. Using cars in this job is absolutely fine as long as the dogs travel in safety.
