We are very pleased to announce that local funeral director Stuart Wright, has once again agreed to sponsor our Light Up a Life campaign. Stuart is a very regular giver to our charity. His company supports other events. He says he likes to sponsor us because in his long experience in our area in business, hes never heard a bad word said about hew service we offer to local families. Funeral boss Stuart said: “Backing the Light Up a Life appeal is actually our privilege and honour. “I have been in business in this area since before St Cuthbert’s Hospice formed in 1988 and in all that time, I have never heard anything but praise from any of my customers. I know and appreciate the respect with which the hospice treats people.” Last year’s service at Durham Cathedral was attended by hundreds of local people remembering their loved ones. They raised over £10,000 for the hospice. This year’s Light Up a Life event will be held at 7pm on December 14th. Light up a Life is one of St Cuthbert’s Hospice’s biggest annual campaigns, and is mirrored by many other hospices across the UK. At this time of year, the hospice invites the community to remember a loved one and Light up a Life by donating to St Cuthbert’s Hospice. All names are entered into the Light up a Life book of remembrance which is dedicated at a special service at Durham Cathedral in December. stuartwrightfunerals.co.uk/ Pictured: Stuart Wright with Kay Welsh, from St Cuthbert’s Hospice at the Langley Park branch of Stuart Wright Funeral Services.
