We are very pleased with the results of the Canadian National Sambo team who participated for Canada at the World Championships in Saint Petersburg. Adam Macfadyen did very well particularly for a 19 year old losing a very close match to Armenia 3-0 and the eventual Belorussian silver medalist 10-0. Dainis Ng had unfortunate luck as he broke the Japanese competitors arm but lost on points as in typical Japanese fashion he did not tap. Placings of our competitors will be listed shortly. For all paid up members and clubs in good standing the opportunity to compete on the world stage will be available again. We will be officially announcing dates for the Canadian National Championships being held next year in November in Montreal. Clinics, tournament details will be announced in the new year.
