We are very proud to say that Curtain Up Drama will be opening our very own brand new studio for lessons outside of the schools ECA schedules. We will be holding our Saturday classes there as well as new weekday classes. This term classes will commence on the 7th of September. The course will run for 14 weeks every week until the 19th of December. We will be having a half term break on the week beginning Monday the 21st of October. Relevant ages and class times will be as follows: Saturday classes 4 – 7 years old: 9.00am - 10.00am. 8 – 12 years old: 10.00am – 11.30am. 13 years old and upwards - 11.30am – 1.00pm. Tuesday classes 4 - 7 year olds - 4pm - 5pm. Wednesday classes 8 - 12 year olds - 4.30pm - 6pm. Thursday classes 12+ years - 4.30pm - 6pm. Throughout the duration of the course the children will learn all aspects of theatrical performance from scenery and costumes to singing, dancing and acting. Students will have the opportunity to explore their creativity, build confidence and stretch imaginations. The classes will be filled with a variety of activities, including drama games, mime, vocal techniques, role-play as well as character studies and development. We will be working towards an end of term production, which we will invite friends and family to come and enjoy. We are currently finalising the lease on our brand new drama studio. We are very excited to move in and finally have a permanent Curtain Up Drama HQ location. It is situated conveniently in Sukhumvit 33/1, so parents will be able to explore the nearby Emporium whilst we train up your children into young actors and actresses.
