We are working on a video to illustrate the unmet needs of people with a terminal illness, their families and carers. We are looking for people who are available in London on either the 29th September or 3rd October who would be happy to speak on camera about any help or support they wished they had received while caring or supporting a family member, partner or friend. For example, there could have been confusion or uncertainty around medical care or what was going to happen, insufficient information about financial matters or benefits, or the absence of support for you as a carer. It could also be about having to search many internet sites for practical information, or it could be about wanting some emotional support and not having anyone to turn to, especially in the night when you felt there was no one else around. Filming would take around three hours of your time and if you are interested in learning more please email [email protected] with some information about your experiences. Thank you.
